Bernard Lee (known to friends and family as Barney) was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, during a tremendous economic and social change. The city’s steel industry collapsed, and the town struggled to reinvent itself. Bernard’s wide-ranging interests and talents reflected the spirit of his hometown. He studied graphics, photography, and visual communications and played guitar in several successful rock bands. He also developed a passion for sound engineering and founded Aircraft Studios, a recording studio serving many local and national musicians. Bernard’s work as an audio engineer led to opportunities to produce and engineer projects for national artists like Norah Jones,  John Mayer, Adrian Belew, and many more. He also worked on hundreds of commercials for brands such as Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sprite, Frito-Lay, and McDonalds. As COO at Merging Media, Bernard’s audio, video, and photography expertise was used on projects across the United States, Austria, England, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hawaii, Hungary, Israel, Italy, and Slovakia. These projects allowed him to capture people and places' distinctive character and charm worldwide. Bernard’s skill and passion as a photographer are evident in his work. He can capture the subtle nuances of light, shadow, color, and texture. His images are both technically proficient and emotionally evocative. After traveling the world for work, Bernard and his family settled in Ormond-by-the-Sea, Florida. Bernard has turned his attention to his stunning new setting andplace surroundings in this beautiful.
